I went to the new urban salon from the referrals read on this site. It was everything that people had said. They were a bit late, which is always annoying but Emily who did my hair was great! She consulted with me for about 15-20 min. making sure we were on the same page. My hair had some bad color from the past and she was able to fix the issues so that you can't see my roots anymore, even under my old highlights, without damaging my hair. She also added in some extra highlights and only charged me for the color. The pricing was less than half of what I am used to paying and the service was twice as excellent! She also cut my hair and did exactly what I asked. She taught me how to take care of my hair so it wouldn't break off from the processing and how to style it as well. I would recommend her to anyone and I am most definitely coming back.
Pros: end result great, Emily was friendly, how to maintain my hair was discussed, very professional
Cons: receptionist was unpleasent, parking downtown hard, weren't on time
