Review content:
We were there on Super Bowl Sunday (2009) and this was the first restaurant we visited on our trip. We were expecting a wonderful buffet (it was listed as one of the ""best in Vegas"" in our travel books). We were extremely disappointed! The food was lukewarm to cold, 85% of it was ""dryed up"", and a lot of the selections were not even available (needed to be filled up). Also, we were surprised at the lack of ""taste"" with this buffet. Both of us actually considered this buffet the worst eating experience we had during our Vegas trip. We are going back to Vegas in September, but we have already decided this restaurant doesn't even deserve a ""second chance"". On the other hand, we ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE MIRAGE HOTEL!!! We will be staying there again on our upcoming trip ... but unfortunately we will stay very, very far away from Cravings. Better food experiences in the Mirage can be found at either the ""Carnegie Deli"" (truly very yummy) or the ""California Grill"". Pros: Good location Cons: Cold and dryed-up selections ... poor atmosphere.
