Jan and I have consulted with each other for 20 years now. She has mentored me and my company through many tough times, encouraging me to focus on the unique qualities I and my company bring to the table, and to re-examine my goals to match those strengths. We had for years seen ourselves as a rather pedestrian company in a mature industry. Jan helped us re-imagine our purpose as a more future- and client-focused company. She also helped us through the nitty-gritty of rebranding that ensued. Even after 20-odd years, we're not finished yet, a testament to her stamina, patience and friendship.
