Review content:
Maybe we had read too many great reviews, but we were under-whelmed. Much of the food was really good -- the thin-crust pizza and pates were wonderful. But the salade nicoise contained teeny little olives that looked exactly like black beans -- making for a very crunchy first bite -- and the rest of the salad was fairly pedestrian. We arrived 1/2 hour early and sat at the bar looking at 3 adjoining tables -- empty the entire time until we were seated at one of them -- along with the 2 other tables, which overloaded our slightly hapless server. And I hate to have to beg for another glass of wine. We've happily give up a bit of the Milwaukee friendliness for a touch of big-city competence. Pros: Great parking Cons: , Poor table useage
