Review content:
I had read so many positive reviews of this restaurant I was looking forward to my birthday dinner here. Unfortunately, I will never go back. The food was good, but not great, and for $200 a couple, I should be wowed. The worst part of the evening had to do with the waiter, however. Not only did my boyfriend have to ask twice for a lime for his apertif, he only received it after we flagged down a different server. Not a huge deal, but he also took my steak to ""box up"" and never returned with it! I hadn't even eaten half of it and when we realized he had never given it to us after we left (we were running late for my birthday party at nearby Republic) I called the restaurant, but no one answered the phone! I called the next day as well and once again didn't get an answer. I gave up and will go to Mahogany next time. Slightly less expensive, and the ambiance is far superior and so is the food!
