Review content:
The reason for such varying reviews most likely depends on individual stores. The one on Meadows, off Decatur, is one of the shadiest stores I've ever been in. They offered me $400 flat for $50.25 face value on pre-64 silver coins (11/9/10), where the Sahara location offered me $829 an hour later. When I started to walk away, the 2 went into the back (obviously not wanting to discuss prices in front of other customers), and came back with a $600 offer. I managed not to laugh. When the other store used a machine to count the money, I was missing $2 face ($34 cash). By that time, I didn't demand a hand count, I just took the money, but I suspect the machine was correct and that $2 face was missing. I tries to warn the guy who owned the (new) Sahara store that the Decatur store was going to give him a bad reputation. He just shrugged and said they get a very different clientel. I will probably go to Sahara Coins in the future.
