I have been searching so long for a great day spa that used quality all-natural products and approaches to skincare and body wellness, Ascend is that spa. I had the Fire & Ice facial which was recommended to me for revitalizing my skin which was suffering from "winter dullness" (so I was informed). I wasn't aware of what that exactly meant but my very informed and experienced esthetician explained to me that with extreme cold temperatures skin suffered from dryness and poor circulation. Well she used two masks on me, one was a Paprika which stimulated my skin tremendously (it actually felt hot but not irritating almost like I had eaten a chili pepper) bringing circulation back to my skin and then an ice menthol mask to bring the temperature back down, close my pores and tighten up my skin. It was exhilarating and I could smell the fruits and herbs that the product was made of. That was also what really impressed me, the skincare line was made up of nothing but fruits, herbs and vegetables and all the procedures including the extractions were done by hand. It was really a great and relaxing experience.
