I'm going to start by saying I've been disappointed in T&C for a while now, but until recently my pet has been fairly healthy, so I never bothered to find a new vet. I have been treated rudely, talked down to, and left in waiting rooms for 45+ minutes because they simply forgot I was in there. Once, my dog was even given the wrong vaccination. However, in the past week, my dog has come down with an emergency issue, and was taken to T&C twice within a week by my father. (I was out of town.) Dr. Perkins evaluated my dog and twice dismissed him with a clean bill of health (that cost almost $200) and told my father my dog was just "depressed." My dog was not depressed, he was in pain, and my untrained eye could tell within a minute of seeing my dog upon my return. I took my dog back up there, for the third time in a week, and saw a different doctor, agreed immediately he was and pain, and with an xray was finally able to diagnose my dog, but was very rude and short with me, talked very fast, and did not answer any of my questions. She prescribed some pain medication for my dog, but did not inform me he needed to eat before taking the medication, so when I woke up to a very panicked dog at 1am, I had to go back to the vet, where she just pumped him full of xanax, charged me another $30, and sent me home. (Still not informing me my dog should eat before his meds. I found this out with a 2am google search.) Needless to say, I plan to never use this vet again, mostly because I am tired of being charged so much money to be treated so badly.
