Review content:
I have the highest regard for Nathaniel's skills as a medical massage therapist. I had a stroke that paralyzed my left side ( face, arm, leg) in March,2007. This was followed by open heart surgery in May,2007 to replace a mitral valve. The surgery went well but I needed a pacemaker five days later. I recovered well with the help of an excellent rehab group and the counsel and medical care of an extremely competent cardiologist and his team.
18 months ago I went to Nathaniel for an ongoing stiff neck problem that I have had for 25 years as a result of sports injuries . Except for surgery I had explored
all traditional avenues of care (I thought). After three visits my stiff ,painful neck problem was gone..it stays at bay by being addressed every 3-4 weeks now. I had considered my recovery from my stroke and heart surgery to be complete. However,15 months ago I decided to see if the numbness ,circulation and flexiblity of my left side could be improved through medical massage as well as addressing aging problems ( I am 66) of lower back and hip pain. As an estimate of recovery I would say all these problems have recovered 70%. I started playing basketball again about 4 weeks ago. I lift weights and do Cardio 5 days per week. Massage Therapy is part of the reason i am able to still do these things.
