Review content:
Mud Island is a wonderful, relaxing way to spend an afternoon - as a family, individual, or on a date. Ride the monorail from downtown Memphis over to Mud Island, which sits in the Mississippi River - great views from the monorail. Mud Island has a fantastic "mini" re-creation of the Mississippi River, which offers great wading fun for children. You can also tour the museum and gift shop. There are many areas to sit and enjoy fantastic views of the River and Memphis.
