You will not believe this but we have moved 7 times in the past 6 years...and each time had movers. So I would say we are somewhat of an expert on evaluating movers. These guys are by far the best!!!!
We hired them one week before our move and I was worried about a million things like what if they are late, what if they are too slow, what if they break things...but they showed up on time, they were so fast we couldn't believe it. We left the old place a head of them in our compact car and got to the new one, 5 minutes later they show up with their big truck..unbelievable!!!
So our place was a 1 bedroom plus, we packed everything which is key in moving. It took only 2.5 hours for the move. A crew of three showed up (my boyfriend and dad also helped) and later found out the lead was the owner. He is great. We had some hurdles like our front door to the building as well as our apartment had to be taken out since it was too narrow, he did is so quickly...I just keep saying how fast they were because time is money and they do charge a bit higher but I think they saved us at least an hour so it is very worth it.
Moving totally sucks and it's much worse if you spend $$$ hiring people that are just not that into their job and end up costing you more $$$...Thanks to US VAN LINES, if we move again (God we are so tired of it) we have a good company to work with.
