I am a California-licensed cosmetologist (though not practicing) and have been going to Julie for years. She has the perfect balance of recommending something that works specifically for me (hair type/face/age/lifestyle), listening to my wants and suggestions, and keeping current on trends (re: would professionally talk you out of an 80's perm, mullet, or chunky highlights....LOL). This is her career and she takes it seriously....always keeping up with new styles and techniques and believing strongly in continuous education. When I leave her, I make SURE I'm going SOMEWHERE afterwards because I KNOW I'll be looking hot! LOL
Pros: If you want your hair done RIGHT, go to Magnolias (Julie Honohan)
Cons: A smidge pricey, but worth it
