Review content:
I saw Dr. Wendy Kindrick for 7 years before leaving her practice. Not only is this practice in a lawsuit with the Texas Attorney General. 2 years ago I had a life threatening Ectopic pregnancy. Dr. Lopez was on call that night and had great bedside manners. However, I ended up leaving this practice in February of 2011 after receiving horrible high risk pregnancy care. Yesterday, I found out from my current doctor that during my ectopic pregnancy my dr. did somewhat of a "sloppy job" and that she had NOT removed my ovary like she had told me. Somewhere, there was a communication breakdown between the on-call doctor, Dr. Lopez, and my doctor, Dr. Wendy Kindrick. For the past 2 years I have thought that I only had one ovary. Dr Kindrick and I had NUMEROUS conversations about the fact that I only had one ovary. She knew my concerns about getting pregnant again and told me not to worry because the ovary that was left would take over for the one that was removed. She said that I would still ovulate every month...which I did. However, I have to say that I went through a lot of emotional distress with my last pregnancy during the first 6 weeks because I was so scared of having another ectopic pregnancy and possibly losing my right ovary. Not only did Dr. Lopez not remove my left ovary, but she also did such a sloppy job leaving me at a greater risk of having another ectopic pregnancy.
If you care about your health DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE!!!
