Not there when you REALLY need them. 12/4/2012

I have been going to this practice for 7 years. My first pregnancy was was pretty easy, however I have had 4 miscarriages in the last year. After my most recent miscarriage, I couldn't get my Dr. To call me back. I miscarried on a Sunday and had the on-call person call me back. She sounded very annoyed that I was calling her in the morning, and let me know that first trimester miscarriages are very common. I know that, 4 in a row is NOT common. The staff cancelled my "first-visit" appt, because I was no longer pregnant, and recommended I make a consult appt instead...the next available consult was 2 months later. Very unhappy here and transferred to another practice for care I can count on. more

Lawsuit 5/25/2011

I saw Dr. Wendy Kindrick for 7 years before leaving her practice. Not only is this practice in a lawsuit with the Texas Attorney General. 2 years ago I had a life threatening Ectopic pregnancy. Dr. Lopez was on call that night and had great bedside manners. However, I ended up leaving this practice in February of 2011 after receiving horrible high risk pregnancy care. Yesterday, I found out from my current doctor that during my ectopic pregnancy my dr. did somewhat of a "sloppy job" and that she had NOT removed my ovary like she had told me. Somewhere, there was a communication breakdown between the on-call doctor, Dr. Lopez, and my doctor, Dr. Wendy Kindrick. For the past 2 years I have thought that I only had one ovary. Dr Kindrick and I had NUMEROUS conversations about the fact that I only had one ovary. She knew my concerns about getting pregnant again and told me not to worry because the ovary that was left would take over for the one that was removed. She said that I would still ovulate every month...which I did. However, I have to say that I went through a lot of emotional distress with my last pregnancy during the first 6 weeks because I was so scared of having another ectopic pregnancy and possibly losing my right ovary. Not only did Dr. Lopez not remove my left ovary, but she also did such a sloppy job leaving me at a greater risk of having another ectopic pregnancy. If you care about your health DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE!!! more

No Compassion 5/30/2007

I have been going to Women's Integrated Health for several years now. I was always happy with the care until I miscarried with my first pregnancy. I realized that there is little compassion in the office because the practice is so large. I was very disappointed with the lack of concern/help the staff offered when it was really needed. I am in turn changing doctors in hopes of finding a doctor who might actually care about my well being. I don't recommend them for anyone who is looking for a compassionate/friendly staff. more

Best place for a woman 8/19/2005

This place is great. They take the best care of you and treat you with respect and they care about you during your pregnancy. They go the extra mile to take care of you. This place was so much better than the place my wife went to the first time. Also, all the employees LOVE KIDS! more

Ob/Gyn - All female staff 8/17/2005

The Women's Integrated Healthcare office in Grapevine, Texas is a wonderful office for women. The entire staff is female, so if you feel more comfortable with a female doctor, you will be happy here. The office is always busy, with many expectant mothers and other women there for annual exams. They do their best to stay right on schedule, although it is sometimes a difficult task because doctors will be called into delivery rooms unexpectedly. They work with a number of insurance companies as well. I love that I can go into their office and be with a woman doctor or nurse practitioner who knows exactly what I'm going through. They are very thorough and make sure you are getting the best care possible. more
