I had taken my grandfather's 1940's 4-string banjo in for repair. The only thing that I had asked is that I get the original tuning pegs back after they were replaced. Of course, when I got it back, one was missing and no one could find it. They also told me that they weren't sure how to tune it. Brian was nice, but rather "burnt-out" and ran a very loose operation. It may be a good place to buy a guitar, but you should NOT have anything repaired there if you value the item. It also took 3 weeks to add a bridge and 4 tuning plugs and new strings because their repair guy is rarely there and they said, "He may be in this Saturday". Then it was, "Nope, he never made it in". I was left frustrated, and judging by the types of statements they made to me throughout the process, they were used to frustrated customers.
