Official candy makers of Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby, Ruth Hunt Candies opened their newest location in Lexington in the Woodhill Shopping Center. The bright pink building (formerly a Pizza Hut restaurant) is home to a fine selection of fresh candies, bourbon balls, cream candies, Blue Mondays, Jamieson's chocolates, baskets and gifts. Many of these products can be ordered online, but don't miss a chance to browse the freshly made specials at the shop. The gift shop also contains Kentucky made arts and crafts, handbags, woven items, Kentucky cookbooks, greeting cards, and more.
