The Art Museum of Southeast Texas is a lovely place to spend an afternoon. While it's not large, the building is lovely, and it hosts many interesting traveling exhibits. There's a cafe for lunch, a computer lab and children's gallery, and an outdoor sculpture garden. Special events are held at the museum throughout the year, such as Family Arts Days and other festivals. It's located next to the Texas Energy Museum on Main Street.
