We just used A-1 Sewer and Drain to install a new tub and rough in the plumbing for it. I was not completely satisfied with the service I recieved.
First off, one of the office workers told me it would take 2-3 hours to complete the job, although it actually took 4 and half. The plumber was an hour late because he had to pick up a helper and I ended up having to reschedule dental appts. because of these two things.
Next, the plumber was SLOWWWW. In 2 hours they had taken 2 cigarette breaks and hadn't done much else. I was paying $109 per hour/$54 per half hour.
Once the job was finally finished, the plumber tried to charge me for 5 hours instead of 4 and a half. Plus, he tried to charge $139 per hour to cover the helper even though I was quoted $109. He called the office begrudgingly and they said to charge me the quoted price.
After all that, I ended up w/ a leak and had to call them back. Luckily, I got a different plumber who was great and did a very professional job. If I had started with the second plumber my review might be 4 or 5 stars.
