The Koka Booth Amphitheater hosts many concerts and performing troupes during the spring, summer and early fall seasons. The North Carolina Symphony plays there often. The amphitheater also show Hollywood hit movies during the summer for only $3 entrance fee. It is situated on a lake which makes for a great backdrop to the well-designed stage. Lawn chairs are strongly recommended and the food is pricey so eating beforehand is a good idea. This is a great place for a family outing or for an inexpensive and different date.
