Games People Play is in my opinion the best local games store in terms of breadth of selection, mostly fair prices, and service. As an admitted boardgame geek it's often hard to find games I'm looking for in game stores, but generally speaking I've had no problem with this one.
For the casual game player, the available selections are plentiful and the store is quite large, featuring play areas for kids, fun displays, and of course the game tables in the rear of the store for tournaments and game groups. My only complaint is not one unique to this store, and has to do with the reality of the price difference between store-bought board games and those purchased online (usually about 10-15 dollars, depending on the game).
