A good course, good location 8/6/2005

East Bay golf course won't wow you with it's landscape or natural beauty, although of course the mountains are in view and provide a nice backdrop. There's water, water, and more water on this course but generally the landing areas are plentiful and the course not overly difficult. The nice thing about this course for me is its location and available practice options. These include three large putting greens with plenty of room for chipping, a sand bunker, a natural grass driving range, and an executive course (par 29) for work on the short irons. My favorite is the back nine which features three par 3s and three par 5s, on a good day you can card a great score on this course. The management is generally good and this last summer was tbe best condition I've seen the course in for quite some time. The location in south Provo is the biggest draw for this good solid public course. more
