I really enjoyed visiting the San Diego Wild Animal Park. It features many different types of animals from hippos to rhinos, lions to tigers, elephants to giraffes, and all are in a natural type of environment, sort of like a big savannah. It is really awesome to see these animals in what is similar to their natural habitat. Admission prices are a little higher than the San Diego Zoo, but I don't believe admission is higher than $30 for an adult. I highly recommend visiting the Wild Animal Park to get a different feel for what these animals are really like.
