Internationalist books is a great non-profit, collectively/volunteer run bookstore. Unlike many commercial book stores, The Internationalist is unabashedly left leaning/progressive in their outlook and in the selection of books that they carry, so don't go in looking for the latest Coulter, Hannity, or Limbaugh and you won't be disappointed. They also carry of independent/small publisher/self-published books and zines that would be difficult to find elsewhere, as well as politically and socially oriented stickers. Shops like this only exist in big cities like New York and San Francisco, or little enclaves like Madison, Wisconsin or Chapel Hill, so be thankful that you've live where you do.
