The Sweet Factory is a candy store that sells all kinds of candy by the pound. You fill up a bag from the various bins and then the cash register does the rest.
Warning: This can be very expensive! The regular candy (jellies, licorice, hot tamales, candy Lego, etc.) sells for $2.19 a quarter pound. (In comparison, an 1/2 pound box of hot tamales will cost you about $1 in a drug store.)
The employees are friendly and pleasant and I have noticed that they try to keep the store neat and the candy untouched. Some of the scoops, however, get a little gross.
