This place is small and popular. The food is good, the portions are good, and service is usually prompt. There are a handful of chinese restaurants in West Seattle. This is definitely one of the better chinese/asian restuarants in the neighborhood. The atomoshphere is casual and nothing fancy. It does get busy and seating is limited so it would be a good idea to get there early on weekends. They're are also open until 10 on weekends. The food is great. I highly recommend the seven flavor beef over the nine flavor beef. There is nothing like it. They also serve a great calamari appetizer. The pieces of calamri are huge and fried in what i think is a flour batter. As far as noodle dishes, both the phad kee mao and the pan fried noodles are very good. I go the International District often for good Chinese food and I've even driven over to Yea's Wok in Bellevue. If you don't live in West Seattle, this place is definitely worth the drive over. It's located on bustling California Avenue where there are now quite a few nice bars and a small pool hall. more
