Health-A-Rama is one of the only health/organic food stores on the Banks, so there aren't very many options in this category. Unfortunately, Health-A-Rama is extremely expensive--$5.50 for a quart of organic milk, or $5.65 for a dozen eggs from cage-free hens. They have a decent selection of the brands you might find in Whole Foods stores, like Barbara's cereals and Ezekiel breads, and they have beautiful organic produce. They also have a sizable section devoted to organic cosmetics, creams, potions, and other personal care items, as well as some clothing and jewelry. Not a place most people can afford to shop at for their major food purchases, but definitely a place to find specialty products and ingredients.
