Of all the Gannet owned papers I read, namely Clarion Ledger and USA today, there is no comparison. Seem to never do any of the most simple research. i.e. Write articles about local gas taxes (multiple pages) without stating what the local gas tax is. This practice is too common place to count. No crime report; Shameless!
