Requested a free estimate for an upstairs interior paint job which had begun to look really bad from wall ghosted soot due to a puff back 2 years earlier. In the process of explaining the services needed, I misunderstood question as to whether services were needed for an insurance quote and replied yes (high deductible of home insurance prevented my claiming it 2 years prior). Before I could correct myself the behavior of estimator changed, yelling he doesn't do puff backs and insurance quotes. I was so stunned by the attitude and behavior turnabout of the company representatives that before I could recover, both parties (father and son) were hurrying down my stairs and out the door. I asked again to verify what he said and at this point he's yelling he doesn't do puff backs for insurance claims and jumped into his car and left. I was never given a chance to correct myself and explain yes I had a puff back but no it was not for insurance purposes. I just wanted to renovate my interior upstairs. There was no excuse for the awful, nasty and rude behavior. I was cordial and respectful and expected the same in return. Totally lacking in any kind of business acumen Complete Finishes of L.I. deserves no stars.
