I have great memories of living in Happy Valley and going to The Creamery ( http://www.creamery.psu.edu/ ) to buy freshly made Peachy Paterno ice cream. Peachy Paterno* is very creamy Peach ice cream, from our very own dairy cows at Penn State, with Peach chunks. Wonderfully creamy, and the fat is well worth it!
If you happen to be in the area for a Big 10 home game or ArtsFest, be sure to stop by the 'largest university creamery in the nation' and try some! Otherwise, you can order some online for home delivery.
