The thing I miss most in the Detroit area is definitely La Shish, and not just any location ... the headquarters off Michigan Ave. in downtown Dearborn. The hummous is divinely creamy, the pita warm, soft and straight from the oven, fattoush and chicken shawarma always perfect! Don't forget an icy lemonade which goes perfectly with the meals. The best meal you'll have at such reasonable prices.
