With Japantown Bowl having moved on to greener pastures, there aren't too many places left in SF to take out your aggressions on ten unassuming pins. However, the giant megabowlingplex Sea Bowl is but a hop skip and a jump down highway 1. I always find that driving South to a place like Pacifica is way quicker than going to Oakland or Berkeley, and sometimes even faster than getting to the other side of the city. And Sea Bowl is sooo worth the drive. They've got lanes as far as the eye can see, an upstairs lounge with Ocean views, arcade, bar. And lots and lots of hot shot bowlers to put your sorry gutter eating ass to shame. One tip: the place is so popular, sometimes you need to make reservations.
