I was amazed at how expensive shoes can be for children -- especially toddlers and preschoolers. Thank goodness my wife found a Stride Rite Outlet while we were visiting friends in VA. The prices are so much more reasonable. The day we were there, all shoes were 'buy one, get one half price'. We bought 2 pairs of shoes for my son for less than the cost of one. That was definitely a bargain! The store was well organized. The staff was friendly and willing to check the back for extra styles and sizes. We will definitely visit this store again the next time!
