When I lived on the eastside, this was definitely one of the only gathering places that most people could agree on. They brew their own beer and have pretty good food. What's not to like?
The do allow smoking on the back patio, but the restaurant is smoke free.
IF you go there around 5-6pm on a weekday, its typically packed with a lot of people just off of work (many of which are from MS), but I think they have a good happy hour in that timeframe as well. If memory serves me right, its cheap beer and appetizers...
