If you're ever in Berkeley on a Sunday, you should stop by the Thai Temple for Sunday brunch. It's great, tons of delicious home made Thai food, in an atmosphere that is utterly Berkeley. You buy everything with these little plastic coins, that cost $1 each. So a drink might be one coin, another three or four coins to get more food than you'll be able to finish. One thing I warn against: if you're not used to their style of ice tea, I don't recommend it, it's definitely an acquired taste. But otherwise the experience of eating there just can't be beat.
