India Kitchen has the most delicious royal cuisine in Western Connecticut. I've been to other Indian restaurants in the area but none compare. For starters, the basmati rice is always fluffy and fresh. Every appetizer and dish I have tried has been to my liking, though I particularly enjoy sag paneer and samosas. If you can only tolerate a certain level of spiciness, tell the server and they will accommodate. During lunch hours, the portions are perfect. Dinner servings are generous and usually require a doggy bag. The service is friendly, though not always attentive. Be prepared to stay a while and don't stop in if you want a quick meal.
