Being a New Yorker, I’m picky about my delis, but I’d recommend the downtown Provo Gandolfo’s Deli (none of the franchises seem to consistently maintain the quality of this one store). Their “no fuss” atmosphere and wide variety of sandwiches hits the spot. Their Hampton sandwich (turkey avocado combo) is a good starter sandwich, but I suggest ordering different items until you find your ideal lunch staple. The chocolate cake is a must, but you can pass on the salads unless you love the taste of mayo.
