What amazes me is how many people continue to be enthralled with something over priced and over rated. The food is not the problem because it's good, and the owner and staff are fine people. But when a chef friend of mine took me here, all I could think about was she didn't need to impress me with spending her month's rent on a frickin' meal! Give me a break. This place is mostly for the rich and those who love them. Regular folks that work hard for their cash will feel much better spending their money at a reasonably priced local diner that appreciates the business rather than continuing to make Mr. Trotter a multi millionaire. I have had five star dining experiences in Chicago for a fraction of the cost. This is mostly a yuppie paradise, so if you're into that, go for it.
