I used to work right across the street and whenever I had to give directions to people over the phone, they instantly knew what I was talking about when I told them that we were across the street from the Halftime Tavern. That place has been around forever. They are always busy. The portions are huge and you can order the food to go. It's not exactly the place that you would want to take a date, but obviously the food is pretty good if they're still around after so long.
