Any time I have been to the York Hospital emergency room, the service has been prompt. If I ever had to wait, I knew it was because there were people with more serious issues than I had. They have a snack cart set up if you are hungry while you wait. If you are a visiting family member, they are very polite and helpful. They answer any questions you have. You can even go to the cafeteria for some yummy food for low costs.
