The Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden CT is a great place to hike, picnic or just spend the day. They have a variety of trails and places to picnic. The park is kept very neat and clean. It's called sleeping giant because of its unique shape, from a distance, the hills look like a giant sleeping! It's a unique place and very peaceful in the midst of a busy area!
