The MFA in Boston is a very nice establishment. As soon as patrons see the exterior of this lovely museum, they will know they are in for a high-class treat. The interior wings are lovely- with marble masonry work highlighting the exhibits. Large halls over power some of the paintings, but impress upon the viewer the signifcance of what they're seeing.
The MFA has a large collection of Egyptian and Asian art which is great to inspire today's artists with themes from the past. Also housed here are severeral works by Monet and Gaugin- probably not the best collection but nice to see nonetheless. Limited engagement exhibits cost a bit extra to get into, but are always extensive and worth the few extra dollars to explore interesting subject matter more in depth.
