I think this place is only in business because of the numerous hotels that surround it down in Rockaway Beach. Poor unsuspecting hotel dwellers have limited dining choices and fall victim to the 'cute 50's' exterior as my boyfriend and I did that fateful Saturday. First off, their hours are sporatic. We drove past the restaurant quite a few times before we found it finally to be open. Boyfriend ordered the standard shake/hamburger/fries, I ordered a tuna melt. The shake tasted chalky, like it was some powdered malt mixed with ice cream that had sat in the freezer for way too long, and their fries had that similar, stale freezer taste, YUCKO!! My tuna melt also tasted funny. There was only one server there when we dined here and he seemed to be very occupied on his cell phone and didn't seem to care about his customers. Stay away from this joint.
