Located next to my favorite beach in Oregon at Cannon Beach, lays Ecola State Park. Follow the winding road through the lush canopy of spruce trees until you emerge at a bluff overlooking the ocean. There you will find an amazing view from above, with picnicking and grass areas to run and play. Travel down the stairs to the beach or better yet, follow one of the many trails through the magnificent trees with trunks the size of a small row house.
