Ice Castle International Skating Rink, located in Lake Arrowhead, California, used to be the best ice skating rink around, and is still pretty good today. It is not expensive at all. I think it is only opened during the winter months, though. This is where Michelle Quan used to train! They do have hockey teams practice there so you will want to schedule your visit around their practice times to ensure you have the most time to skate. It does have that weird ice skating feel and smell about it (you know the one), but what place doesn't. It is a great place to take the whole family for a fun day on the ice.
