This bookstore is located between TJ MAxx and Pier One at the corner of Parkway and Highland. This used to be THE place to go in Jackson, with a great cafe and live music and wonderful selection. Unfortunately, it seems that DK hasn't responded well to the competition from other booksellers, and they are only doing the bare minimum to keep their customers. The kids store isn't as nice as it used to be, and the events were once really great. Not sure what happened, but I miss having a great independent bookstore in town. I don't like chains, but sometimes have to shop there to get what I want.
