La Mirada Creek Park is a nice, long, narrow park, perfect for walking your dog, or just yourself. It has some semi-steep inclines to work your legs out and off to the side is a steep set of stairs going into a local neighborhood, that many people use to get an even better workout. The park is very pretty with lush green grass and giant trees providing lots of shade. Off to the side of the park are peoples backyards and some of them have horses, so your kids may enjoy seeing that. Other than that though, their is no playground equipment here so not fun in that aspect for kids.
