We've previously lost our air conditioning in our home in the middle of August and had to relocate our family to the cool comfort of the Howard Johnson Express Inn. The older hotel was renovated to a more modern decor. The beds comfortable, and their airconditioning worked splendedly. The kids especially loved their pool. I found the cost to be reasonable and the accomodations quite satisfactory.
