Second Hand Rose is a great place to sneak in on an icky rainy or snowy day and just look. You never know what you will find or when you will find it. They constantly have new things and they're priced very well. You can also usually barter a bit with them, especially if it's an item they've had around for a while. I love to stop in when I have some extra time on my hands and simply don't want to shop in the big stores. You never know what you will find in there!
They do sometimes have odd hours, call ahead if you can to see if they're open but I never mind if I am just out trolling around and decide to stop in and they're closed. I'm disappointed but hey, I get over it. I love the trinkets and special little items. I've found some great deals. They carry everything from clothes to jewelry to air conditioners! As with any 2nd hand store, you have to check the items you are purchasing very well to assure there are no cracks, breaks, holes, etc. But all in all it's a great experience and a wonderful way to find items you could never find elsewhere!
