Troutmere in La Honda is a super-undiscovered place to take the kids on weekends. It's a trout farm, very old, probably turn of the century when Pescadero and La Honda were summer vacation spots for the elite of San Francisco. Check out the decorative wrought iron work. You can fish, too; they supply everything and they will clean the fish and wrap them for you.
