OutToday.Com sent me a card in mail saying that it was time to service my furnace, and it turned out that I needed a new one. I didn't stop to tell them to wait for me to get a second opinion. He made it seem like I needed to get it that day for safety reasons.
I did feel like I got a little pushed into it, because he scared me a little about the safety. I believe what he said, and he did the whole service before checking the safety, so he didn't walk through the door with the intent to sell me a new furnace, but at the same time he made it feel like it was very important to do it that day. It hasn't been cold, and I haven't had to turn it on, so I probably had time to get more information and estimates.
They were all very nice. They did what they said they would do, and they gave me all the paperwork for rebates. They are very thorough; I just think I could have got a better price.
